LiveU’s Situational Awareness Solution is a turnkey video connectivity solution for public safety and tactical teams, enhancing decision-making with reliable, real-time video transmission from any camera source – on ground, water, or air – to any destination, including HQ, Mobile Command Centers, or first responder devices.
The Situational Awareness Solution comes complete with the LU-REQON1™ portable video encoder and a decoder, plus powerful, but intuitive software tools for both video and data transmission.
Integrating seamlessly with existing visual intelligence infrastructure such as video management solutions (VMS) and UAV fleets, the LiveU Situational Awareness Solution is easy-to-use and swift to deploy.
Purpose-built for the Public Safety sector, LiveU’s Situational Awareness Solution lets you:
At the core of our Situational Awareness Solution is the LU-REQON1 – a compact, high-performance bonded IP video encoder that reliably transmits real-time video from any source to any destination. Built for public safety demands, it’s compatible with leading drones and uncrewed systems, ensuring critical mission visibility.
Don’t rely on a single connection for your critical operations! The LU-REQON1™ leverages LiveU’s patented LRT™ protocol, bonding up to six different network links to create a single, resilient video stream.
With LU-REQON1 at its heart, the LiveU Situational Awareness Solution also includes these key components:
Turn your unit into a powerful mobile internet hub (hotspot) for reliable connectivity across devices, supporting essential internet access for onsite teams managing critical response operations.
Easily transfer large files from SD cards or USB drives to your command centers. Ideal for photogrammetry, wildfire monitoring, or infrastructure inspections, it ensures critical data, including 3D mapping files, is delivered quickly and securely.
Your choice of physical (LU2000/4000) or cloud-based video decoder, designed to seamlessly receive and output the transmitted video signals to your selected destinations.
Expand your mission-critical capabilities with these add-on tools:
Video Return
IP Pipe
Mobile Data
Equip your field crews with real-time insights
Let your on-site teams and officers view video streams from on-ground cameras, drones and other Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). Live feeds can be viewed by up to 40 recipients on any of their mobile devices. Ensuring utmost security, feeds can be accessed via a unique and temporary link, allowing you to safely share them with individuals outside your organization.
Gain remote control
LiveU’s IP Pipe lets you remotely control your IP-based field equipment like PTZ and surveillance cameras, so you have full command of any situation with improved real-time situational awareness.
Make the most of your LU-REQON1™ device
Data is at the heart of cellular bonding.
Our extensive experience, handling over 10 Petabytes of cellular data every year, positions us as experts in optimizing data connections to support flawless video transmissions. LiveU Mobile Data is designed to ensure reliable, mission-critical video delivery from any location, fully managed by LiveU for complete peace of mind.
Secure video transmission over bonded IP
Simply plug your IP or HDMI video source to the LU-REQON1™ unit to share your live feeds with your command-and-control teams. The LU-REQON1 encodes the video and transmits it over several IP bonded connections (cellular/LAN/WiFi/Satellite), ensuring a low-latency, high quality live stream.
This stream is sent to your control room, where it is decoded by a LiveU physical or cloud server and played out to relevant stakeholders.
Public safety teams, first responders, defense agencies and others rely on LiveU solutions for mission-critical ISR applications, ensuring reliable live feeds from the field to command.
“Nothing has been as successful as putting a LiveU into operation. Instead of communicating in silos, our teams can get live briefings instantly and be able to go to work right away.”
”The signal from the drone and LiveU unit is received in our control room by a LiveU server and then it’s fed into an IP distribution system. This means commanders, wherever they are, can see the footage, helping the accuracy and timing of our responses.”
“The humanitarian firemen of the French Catastrophe Rescue Group (G.S.C.F.) have been working for more than a year with a LiveU unit to get video feedback from drones, either on Firefighters command centers or during emergency or development missions abroad. The LiveU unit fully satisfies our needs.”
