Responding to an ever-increasing demand in Spain, and to best serve a growing range of requirements, LiveU has expanded its local presence in the country. The Company has opened a new office in Madrid, alongside a presence in Barcelona, and has appointed Laura Romero as Country Manager.
Zion Eilam, Regional VP of Sales, EMEA, LiveU, said, “Getting closer to our customers in key markets is a priority for LiveU. Geographic proximity allows us to respond even faster and provide localised solutions with a more personalised experience across sales and on-site technical support. It’s a hugely exciting time for the company and it’s vital that we bring our customers with us.”
Growing its local team with the appointment of Llames, LiveU is able to work more closely with Spanish customers and partners, speaking their language both literally and technologically.
Llames joins from MediaPro, renowned Spain-headquartered integrator of content, audiovisual production and distribution solutions. There, she was most recently Commercial Director of LVP (Professional Video games League) by MediaPro in Spain. Romero has vast sales and technological experience from her previous roles. She is supported by an expanded sales and technical support team in Madrid and Barcelona to further increase LiveU’s local reach.
Romero said, “I’m really excited to be working with LiveU. The company is constantly looking at ways to expand its local presence and with the growth we’re experiencing in the country, and the diverse nature of our customers and their requirements, it’s essential that we can satisfy their needs, quickly and accurately. Our doors are open for our customers; be they in the news, sports or other verticals like public safety or education, everyone is interested in seeing our live video technology first-hand.”
Eilam added, “Spain has been a very successful market for LiveU and is one that continues to grow, both in terms of the number of customers with which we are working and the increasing range of LiveU solutions they want to deploy. These go hand-in-hand with our expanding cloud-based services and continually upgraded range of 5G IP bonding transmission solutions.”
