The outlook is positive for economic growth in Mexico in 2025.  According to forecasts, entertainment and media in Mexico will achieve an annual value of 29 billion U.S. dollars with growth of over 14 percent in the following three years, consolidating Mexico as a key market in the Americas. The sector relies heavily on cinema, TV, radio, and newspapers, which altogether accounted for three-fourths of the Mexican media industry revenue in 2021.

To address the booming media and entertainment industry in Mexico and what they feel is a missing piece bridging sales and service, One Media was born. Located in Mexico City, One Media is a distributor selling and supporting the leading broadcasters in Mexico, as well as vertical market customers. Created by a duo with longstanding careers in the broadcast industry, Guadalupe González and Edgar Chávez, One Media is shaking things up with a fresh outlook on consultative selling and customer support. As a new LiveU distributor, we sat with the husband and wife team to get to know One Media better. 

Why did you decide to create One Media?
With almost 20 years of experience in the broadcasting industry, we found that there are vertical markets (corporate, sports, public sector and others) that can gain real value from the possibilities that accessible and reliable of live video production can bring.  We also saw that the Broadcast industry, especially in Mexico, is becoming ever more sophisticated to meet the growing demands of their audiences.  There is where the One Media philosophy was born, to address new vertical markets and existing customers with the very best, personalized service for each customer.

What excited you about supporting storytellers in Mexico?
The fact that One Media helps storytellers to deliver their message to their viewers in an engaging way combined with our ability to help new storytellers reach more audiences is exciting.
